I have a habit of talking to myself throughout these essays. It helps me overcome resistance. You might skip reading that.

I’m not even sure where exactly we are. And I notice a tendency to retreat. To look at my notes. To retreat into making sense of this in the privacy of my mind, to avoid the discomfort of trying to navigate overwhelming complexity out in the open. But that’s not where magic is.

There is a kind of emptiness in my mind. These last few days were extraordinarily productive. Can I manage to just let it flow, instead of trying to make it happen?

One perspective that might be helpful is to write each piece as it’s own artwork. Sure, a lot of what I’ve been trying to do so far is to establish context. To introduce language, premises, constraints, that build on each other. But still.

Many directions to take it from here. What wants to be said today?
