Why is that something we want?

If we don’t take control over our devices, they’ll happily take control over us.

“We‘re a species that‘s facing some it‘s greatest challenges in recorded history. And we‘ve got a whole bunch of people staring into their phones all day. We really need the distracted geniuses among us to rise to the occasion. We have some stuff to deal with as a species. Wether it‘s ‘How are we gonna feed everyone on this planet?’ or ‘What are we going to do about climate change?’. We need our best minds working on this. We really need all of our minds taking responsibility for what‘s going on in the world that allows us to live.
